Instruction tailored to your child's pace and personality

We teach children in Nakano Ward with the aim of conveying the fun and depth of calligraphy, a traditional Japanese art form, to children. Through calligraphy, students learn not only the technique of writing beautiful letters, but also the ability to improve concentration, develop patience, and the joy of self-expression. We strive to provide careful instruction tailored to each student's pace, and we place importance on having children learn to write with confidence while having fun learning from the basics, even if it is their first time using a brush.

Gently and carefully teach how to hold the brush

Children will learn how to hold a brush, brush with ink, and learn the basic brush strokes to solidify their foundation in calligraphy, and will develop their creativity and expressiveness by teaching them a variety of calligraphy styles. While valuing the balance between the formality and freedom of calligraphy, we provide support for children to fully express their sensibilities in Nakano Ward. In our calligraphy class, we not only focus on writing beautifully, but also on the spirituality of the act of writing itself, and by writing each letter carefully, we teach that you can face your inner self and calm your mind. We will carefully teach calligraphy, which will lead to your child's spiritual growth.

Hard calligraphy that can be used at school and at home

Learning hard calligraphy is done using writing instruments used in daily life, so it is easy for children to learn and is directly useful for writing at school and at home. Starting with basic writing techniques, you can gradually learn how to write various fonts and decorative characters in Nakano Ward. In our calligraphy classes, we help students discover the joy of writing and expand their range of self-expression. Through the process of carefully writing each letter, your child will develop self-control and concentration, and learn the importance of striving toward a goal, which they can use in their school studies and all future activities.
